Evolution � National Diploma in Homeopathy (NZQA Level 7)
- National approved Qualification with New Zealand Qualification Authority
- Successful graduation of the National Diploma will qualify the graduate for registration with the New Zealand Council of Homeopaths
- With the formation of the ICH (International Council of Homeopaths) in early 2006, future graduates of the ACCH's National Diploma in Homeopathy will be able to practice in ICH member countries without needing a local qualification
- This level of Diploma (Level 7) is equal to a Bachelor Degree course under the NZ educational system
This is a four year Diploma course at Level 7, designed to equip you with theoretical and practical skills to function effectively as a practitioner in the field of homeopathy. ACCH aims to provide you with a solid competence from which to practice as a professional within the health field, both within NZ and internationally.
The course consists of the following modules of study over the four years:
Homeopathic Philosophy
- History and development of homeopathic medicine and its underlying principals
- Understanding of health and disease
- Critical analysis of both classic and modern writings on homeopathy
Materia Medica
- Study of homeopathic medicines and their characteristic indications for use
- Study of provings of remedies
- Study of the substances used, their folklore and traditional uses
Case taking, Analysis and Management
- Recording of cases
- Case evaluation
- Choosing and differentiating between remedies
- Posology
- Practical application in a clinical setting
Homeopathic Pharmacy
- Homeopathic preparation of medicines
- Study of the homeopathic pharmacopoeia
Medical Science
- Anatomy and physiology
- Pathology and disease
- Therapeutics for acute and chronic disease
